A Dedicated Physics Teacher Par Excellence This title is well-fitting for the late Mr. Thavarajalingam. For me, his classroom was like the lecture hall of the legendary Sivaji Ganesan. With just a handful of colored chalks, he created wonders on the blackboard. I would sit in the front row, marveling at his lectures. I was inspired to keep a tidy notebook by copying down his neatly presented lessons. My interest in physics, which began in his classroom, still remains. I am forever thankful for the opportunity to have been a student of this inspiring teacher. Rest in peace, Mr. Thavarajalingam.

It is with great sorrow I learnt of the demise of Thavarasalingam. I was glad I was able to wish him for his birthday in March and later t0 speak to him re his illness.
