Dear Sivamathy mami, children and all family relatives. As I write to you with my condolences, my head is filled with images of Thavachselvan mama and the joy he brought to all of us who were lucky enough to know and love him. He was a truly special person and me and my family are deeply sorry for your loss. He was an example to us all. We will never know another like Selvan mama and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I hope you may be able to take some comfort from the many tributes paid to him by those who held him in such high regard. The Gunaratnam family has lost one of its best and he will be greatly missed.

Dear Sivamathy, Suganthan, Suthersan, Suresan, Subangan & all family members: We are deeply saddened about your dear husband, dad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, grand father’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with all family members and may God give you the strength and courage to cope as best as you can at this difficult time. While on one hand we are all so sad that he has been taken away from us too soon, on the other hand you can take comfort that he was so blessed to have had such loving and caring family who stood so close and cared for him during his illness. As sad as it is, we have to accept the inevitability of this heartbreaking loss but can cherish the memories he is leaving behind and celebrate the life he had accomplished with his family for so long. I am personally thankful that I had an opportunity to meet, reconnect and spend some time with him when I was visiting London last time. May his soul be blessed and rest in peace forever.
